Christmas Decorating Time!

advent wreathWith Thanksgiving being just a day away, it’s time to think about getting your home decorated for winter.

Indianapolis Remodeling Contractor, Aeschliman Remodeling and Construction breaks down ideas on how you can get your newly remodeled house ready for the holiday season.

1. Decorate your front door
Your front door is a major focal point for your home. Add a nice holiday wreath toe the front or surround the frame with garland with some beautiful red ribbons.

2. Hang lights
Add some personality to your snow-colored shrubbery by decorating them with colorful and bright Christmas lights.

3.  Add a mantel display
Your fireplace serves a lot of purposes this winter season. It adds warmth to your household and might even serve as a platform for your Christmas stockings. Surround it with some green garland and a nice mantel scarf. Add additional lighting with nice matching candles that provide extra warmth to a room.

4. Poinsettias
Just because it’s winter, it doesn’t mean that there shouldn’t be any flowers around the house. Winter is the perfect time to bring out the Pointsettias to add some decorative floral fun!

5.Put up the tree
Tis the season! Whether it’s real or fake, bring out that Christmas tree! Decorate it with lights or ordainments and fill the room with warm Christmas colors.
